M57 - The Ring Nebula is a famous result of a dying star. This very deep image also reveals a possible outer halo surrounding the main planetary nebula and it's known "petal" like gas shells. These very faint structures are revealed with an Astrodon OIII 3nm filter - Apogee u16m and 16 hours of exposure.
